Trainee - Beijing

Clifford Chance, a leading international law firm with over 30 offices worldwide, offers a comprehensive two-year trainee program in Beijing for graduates from PRC law schools and junior PRC lawyers. This program is designed to provide the necessary experience and training to become an associate at the firm.

During the traineeship, participants will engage in a structured training program that includes lectures, workshops, and e-learning courses, drawing from local, regional, and global resources. Trainees will work alongside lawyers from various practice areas, gaining exposure to different legal fields to help determine their future focus. The firm recruits trainees with the expectation that they will transition into associate roles upon completion.

Applicants should possess a consistently strong academic record and excellent English language skills, both written and spoken. Candidates must have obtained an LLB or LLM from a PRC university, or an LLM/JD from a US university.

Compensation for first-year trainees is RMB 37,000 per month, with second-year trainees earning RMB 40,000 per month. Additional benefits include 22 days of annual leave, medical and dental insurance, and life insurance.
