Third Party Risk Specialist
The Third Party Risk Specialist at Point72 is integral to the firm's Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Team, which oversees the firm's third-party risk management program, including risk assessments, operational due diligence, and ongoing monitoring. This role is based in New York, NY, and involves close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective management of third-party risks.
Key responsibilities include administering and managing the TPRM platform, overseeing day-to-day operations of the TPRM program, driving timely risk assessments during vendor onboarding, and acting as a trusted partner to cross-functional stakeholders such as Compliance, Legal, Information Security, and Procurement. The role also involves executing and managing TPRM-related projects and initiatives, applying risk-based and strategic thinking to identify program gaps and emerging third-party risks, and preparing and delivering management reporting and metrics.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience working with third-party risk vendors. A risk-focused, value-add approach to process improvement is essential, along with proficiency in data and systems, including strong Excel skills. The ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal partners and third parties to identify emerging risks and assess downstream vendor exposure is crucial. Excellent critical thinking skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a commitment to the highest ethical standards are also required.
The annual base salary range for this role is $150,000-$175,000 (USD), excluding discretionary bonus compensation or the comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
