Third Party Risk Associate
The Third Party Risk Associate at Point72 plays a pivotal role within the Third Party Risk Management Team, which is responsible for identifying, monitoring, and reporting third-party risks across the firm's vendor network. This team operates under the Chief Administrative Officer and seeks an experienced professional to enhance operational vendor due diligence efforts.
In this role, the associate will assist the Third-Party Risk Manager in developing and refining the Operational Due Diligence program, ensuring a comprehensive and consistent evaluation of vendors. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal stakeholders and third parties to conduct thorough operational due diligence, managing the vendor risk lifecycle from identification to remediation, and supporting the management of the third-party risk management system. The associate will also drive process automation and reporting, develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and service providers, and collaborate closely with Compliance, Legal, Information Security, and Procurement teams.
Candidates should have over five years of experience working with external vendors and possess a bachelor's degree. A risk-focused, value-add approach to process improvement is essential, along with the ability to develop and maintain relationships internally and externally to gain insights into potential risks. Strong critical thinking skills, the capacity to manage multiple projects efficiently, and an honest, direct, unbiased, and ethical approach to work are required. Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to the highest ethical standards are also important.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $150,000, excluding discretionary bonus compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
