Thermal Hydraulic Test Engineer
Oklo is seeking a Thermal Hydraulic Test Engineer to join our team in Idaho Falls, ID. In this role, you will develop, execute, and manage test projects specializing in thermal hydraulics to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Key responsibilities include crafting detailed test plans that align with applicable quality standards, conducting hands-on testing by setting up experiments and monitoring progress, and compiling and analyzing test data to provide clear, concise reports. Additionally, you will manage test procurement processes, coordinate with suppliers, and oversee tool, equipment, and material sourcing to meet project requirements. Overseeing testing projects from initiation to completion, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to maintain project timelines, quality, and regulatory compliance, is also a critical aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in a technical field such as nuclear, mechanical, or aerospace engineering, along with at least four years of hands-on test engineering experience in a highly regulated industry environment. Proficiency in thermal hydraulic equipment and testing methodologies, including ASME B31.3 Process piping code, test setup, data collection, and analysis, is essential. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities are also required.
