Texas Growth & Engagement Lead
Peregrine Technologies is seeking a Texas Growth & Engagement Lead to drive statewide expansion by establishing strategic relationships with state leaders and converting these connections into tangible market outcomes. This role is pivotal in aligning Peregrine's AI-enabled solutions with Texas's public safety and governmental priorities, facilitating the company's mission to transform data into actionable intelligence.
The primary responsibilities include identifying and developing opportunities with major Texas agencies such as the Department of Public Safety (DPS), Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM), Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ), and the Department of Information Resources (DIR). The role involves serving as Peregrine's representative to state and local officials, influencers, and external partners, building trusted relationships, and translating policy developments and funding opportunities into revenue-generating initiatives. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with internal teams to accelerate growth and streamline the deployment process.
Candidates should possess a deep understanding of public safety and state and local government challenges, with at least seven years of experience in government partnerships, public-sector business development, or state-level strategy within Texas. Proven ability to translate government priorities and funding structures into commercial opportunities is essential. Strong relationships with Texas state agencies, exceptional communication and strategic planning skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset are also required.
