The Territory Account Executive for the Upper East Side at Block (Square) is a field-based sales role focused on engaging local businesses, including restaurants, retailers, and service providers, to promote and sell Square's comprehensive suite of products and services. This position is integral to Square's mission of economic empowerment, aiming to provide tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of the Upper East Side business community.

In this role, the executive will spend approximately 80% of their time in the field, conducting face-to-face meetings with potential clients, delivering product demonstrations, and closing sales. Responsibilities include generating leads through door-to-door outreach, building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, and collaborating with local partners to enhance Square's presence in the community. The executive will also work closely with onboarding teams to ensure seamless implementation of Square's solutions for new clients.

Candidates should have at least three years of experience in a full-cycle sales role with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals. Experience in business development, including lead generation and cold calling, is essential. Given the field-based nature of the role, reliable transportation and residence within 50 miles of the Upper East Side are required. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is preferred.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary ranging from $123,000 to $223,000 annually, with additional variable compensation based on performance.
