The Territory Account Executive at Square is a pivotal role within our high-impact field sales organization, dedicated to driving economic empowerment for local businesses in the East Seattle and Bellevue areas. This position involves direct engagement with merchants, showcasing Square's comprehensive suite of software and hardware solutions designed to facilitate seamless commerce. As a key representative in a high-opportunity market, the executive will be instrumental in expanding Square's presence and fostering strong community relationships.

In this role, the executive will spend approximately 80% of their time in the field, conducting face-to-face meetings with local businesses, performing live demonstrations, and closing deals confidently. Responsibilities include generating leads, identifying client needs, delivering compelling presentations, and managing a full-cycle sales process. Building a robust pipeline through door-to-door outreach, community engagement, events, networking, and strategic partnerships is essential. Additionally, the executive will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients and implement referral strategies to generate future opportunities.

Candidates must possess at least 3 years of experience in a full-cycle closing role with field sales exposure, demonstrating a consistent track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals. Proficiency in independently driving deals in a fast-paced environment, along with business development experience such as hunting and cold calling, is required. Reliable transportation and residency within the designated market are necessary due to the field-based nature of the position. A collaborative mindset and prior experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM systems are also essential.

Square offers a competitive compensation package, with annual salaries ranging from $123,400 to $223,100, inclusive of target variable compensation.
