Technology and Data Intern

Aypa Power is seeking a Technology and Data Intern to join our team in Austin, Texas. As a leading developer, owner, and operator of utility-scale energy storage and hybrid renewable projects, we are committed to responsibly decarbonizing the grid and enhancing the efficiency of North American energy markets. This paid, full-time summer internship runs from June 8, 2026, to August 14, 2026, and requires in-person attendance at our office located in the Domain area of Austin.

In this role, the intern will assist in developing and refining energy price forecasting models by leveraging generative AI tools such as TimeGPT. Additionally, the intern will collaborate with team members to research and implement innovative AI-driven approaches that streamline workflows and improve decision-making processes within the energy storage sector.

The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or possesses industry equivalent experience. Working towards a graduate degree (MA) is desirable. A strong interest in the renewable energy sector and a passion for decarbonization initiatives are essential, along with a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence.
