As a Technischer Vertriebsmitarbeiter DACH (m/w/d) at Vention, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and fostering client relationships within the DACH region. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include consultative selling, where you will assist customers in identifying optimal automation solutions through attentive listening and problem-solving. You will manage the entire sales funnel, from qualifying inbound leads and pursuing outbound targets to closing deals and forecasting future revenue. Additionally, you will collaborate with Application Engineers using Vention’s proprietary tools to transform concepts into functional machine designs. Acting as a bridge to leadership, you will provide field feedback to refine sales strategies and ensure the company meets its monthly and quarterly targets.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in discovery calls, qualification frameworks such as MEDDIC or BANT, and closing techniques. A strong technical aptitude, particularly in understanding mechanical or electrical automation requirements within production environments, is essential. Effective collaboration skills are necessary to navigate the hand-off between sales and engineering teams, ensuring viable solutions for customers. Accountability is key, demonstrated through consistent CRM management, accurate forecasting, and a quota-carrying mindset. Fluency in German and English is required, with additional European languages considered an asset. The candidate should be a proactive individual capable of combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution, adept at scaling operations rapidly while maintaining excellence.
