Technisch Contractmanager
As a Technisch Contractmanager at BESIX Nederland, you will play a pivotal role in managing all contractual aspects during the preparation and construction phases of diverse projects. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining clear, structured, and transparent contractual relationships for projects involving various contract types, including UAV, D&C, UAV-GC, FIDIC, and DBFM. Your day-to-day activities will involve interpreting and translating contract terms into clear rights and obligations, negotiating contractual frameworks for development and subcontracting agreements, and advising project managers on stakeholders' contractual interests and decision-making processes. Additionally, you will proactively identify potential contractual conflicts, assess risks and liabilities, and develop clear requirements and control measures to mitigate them. Managing contract changes, claims, and ensuring their proper resolution will also be key aspects of your responsibilities.
The ideal candidate possesses a technical background complemented by legal education, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. A university or HBO degree in a technical and legal field is preferred, along with a strong affinity for technology. Experience in multidisciplinary technical projects, particularly with contract forms such as UAV, UAV-GC, DBFM, FIDIC, RAW, and STABU, is essential. A solid understanding of procurement law and contract forms within the construction sector, as well as basic knowledge of risk management, will be advantageous.
