Technician, ATE Maintenance

The ATE Maintenance Technician at EAG Laboratories, a division of Eurofins Scientific, plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of automated test equipment (ATE). This position is based in Santa Clara, CA, and involves working within a team dedicated to delivering advanced analytical services across various industries. Key responsibilities include performing in-depth repairs and maintenance of all ATE systems, implementing and overseeing preventive maintenance programs, and conducting inspections, calibrations, and tester adjustments. Maintaining accurate records of test data and ensuring good documentation practices are essential aspects of the role.

Candidates should possess an AS degree in a related field or have 5+ years of equivalent work experience. Relevant experience in troubleshooting semiconductor test equipment is required, along with an understanding of IT network systems and Linux or Windows-based ATE test systems. Strong manual dexterity, comprehension of mechanical and electrical theories, and the ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings are also necessary.
