Technical Writer / Knowledge Base Specialist (SaaS)
Fever, a leading global tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is seeking a Technical Writer / Knowledge Base Specialist to join their team in Barcelona, Spain. This role involves creating and maintaining clear, structured, and user-friendly documentation to help customers independently understand and use Fever's platform. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Support teams to ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with customer usage.
Key responsibilities include owning and maintaining the company's product Knowledge Base, writing and updating documentation for platform features, configurations, and workflows, and creating step-by-step guides, tutorials, and FAQs to support users. The role also involves translating technical concepts into accessible content for non-technical users, collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers to document new features and releases, and improving the structure and organization of the knowledge base. Additionally, the specialist will create supporting materials such as screenshots, diagrams, or short video tutorials and use support tickets, customer feedback, and usage data to continuously improve documentation.
The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience as a Technical Writer, Documentation Specialist, or in a similar role, with experience documenting digital products, SaaS platforms, or technical tools. Proficiency with documentation platforms such as Confluence, GitBook, Notion, or Zendesk Guide is required, along with excellent written communication skills and the ability to simplify complex information. A user-centric mindset focused on helping customers find answers quickly, the ability to learn and understand technical products rapidly, and high attention to detail and content quality are also essential.
