Technical Solutions Engineer - NDO

Arista Networks is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to join our team, focusing on providing post-sales technical support for our CloudVision products. This role involves collaborating with a diverse team of engineers to ensure customer success through technical expertise and innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries via telephone or email, resolving concerns during installation, operation, and maintenance, and troubleshooting hardware and software applications. The engineer will also recreate customer network issues in a dedicated lab environment and document recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and development.

The ideal candidate should have 1-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging, and administering network protocols and technologies. Expertise in network management platforms, DevOps platforms, APIs (JSON, gRPC, curl/Postman/requests), scripting (Python, Bash), containers (Kubernetes, Docker), Linux, Ansible, and KVM is required. General knowledge of Ethernet, VLANs, IP routing, TCP/IP, multicast, and protocols such as BGP, ISIS, OSPF, PIM, and IGMP is preferred. Experience with proprietary server virtualization solutions like VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, and KVM, as well as network troubleshooting tools such as Tcpdump and Wireshark, is highly desired.
