Arista Networks is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to join our Customer Engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse group of top-tier engineers dedicated to ensuring customer success through innovative networking solutions. As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will respond to customer inquiries via telephone and email, addressing concerns related to installation, operation, maintenance, and product compatibility. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, recommending corrective actions, and documenting customer communications to support product quality and development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, and administering various network protocols and technologies. Proficiency in protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VXLAN is essential. Experience with troubleshooting tools like IXIA, tcpdump, and Wireshark is highly desired, along with a strong comfort level with Linux systems. Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or JavaScript is a plus.
