Technical Solutions Engineer
Arista Networks is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to join our team dedicated to supporting our data-driven, client-to-cloud networking solutions. This role involves collaborating with a diverse group of engineers to ensure customer success by providing direct access to high-level technical expertise. In this position, you will respond to customer product inquiries via telephone or email, resolve concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance, or product application, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, recommending corrective actions. Additionally, you will document customer communications and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and development efforts.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging, and administering various network protocols and technologies, including AAA/RADIUS/TACACS, BGP, DHCP, Ethernet interfaces, EVPN, ICMP, IPv4 & IPv6, MPLS, OSPF, QoS, SNMP, STP, VLAN, VRF, and VXLAN. Proficiency with troubleshooting tools such as IXIA, tcpdump, and Wireshark is highly desired, along with a strong comfort level with Linux. Familiarity with programming or scripting languages like C++, Java, Python, Perl, JavaScript, or shell scripting is a plus.
Arista Networks offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $90,000 to $150,000, depending on experience and location.
