Technical Solutions Engineer
Arista Networks is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to join our team, providing top-tier technical support for our innovative networking solutions. This role involves direct collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment and operation of our products. In this position, you will respond to customer inquiries via telephone and email, addressing concerns related to installation, operation, maintenance, and product compatibility. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, recommending corrective actions, and documenting customer interactions to support product quality initiatives and development efforts. Your expertise and interpersonal skills will be critical in delivering exceptional customer-centric support.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-7 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging, and administering various network protocols and technologies. A strong working knowledge of the networking industry, products, and protocols is essential. Proficiency with troubleshooting tools such as IXIA, tcpdump, and Wireshark is highly desired, along with a solid comfort level with Linux. Familiarity with programming or scripting languages like C++, Java, Python, Perl, JavaScript, or shell scripting is a plus. A Master's degree in a technical field (CS/EE/ITP preferred) is required, with industry certifications and prior TAC experience being advantageous.
Arista offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary range of CAD 85,000 to 150,000. Additional benefits include discretionary bonuses, equity options, and comprehensive health and wellness programs.
