Technical Solutions Engineer
Arista Networks is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support all of Arista's products and the diverse network protocols and features covered by EOS. You will collaborate directly with customers and, when necessary, with our software and hardware development teams. Our TSE team operates in a dedicated lab environment to recreate and resolve complex issues, ensuring streamlined support and enhanced customer satisfaction.
As a Technical Solutions Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include responding to customer product inquiries via telephone or email, resolving concerns related to installation, operation, maintenance, or product compatibility, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues to recommend corrective actions. Additionally, you will document customer communications and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and development initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging, and administering various network protocols and technologies. A strong comfort level with Linux is highly desired, and familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as C++, Java, Python, Perl, JavaScript, or shell scripting is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Arista offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $71,000 to $137,000, depending on skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and work location.
