Technical Sales Manager
Eurofins is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on identifying and cultivating relationships with new and existing customers, particularly within the food diagnostics sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales and expanding our market presence.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategies to penetrate new accounts and enhance relationships with end users and distributors. The Technical Sales Manager will manage the entire sales process, from understanding prospects' business plans and decision-making cycles to closing deals and exceeding sales targets. Additionally, the role involves providing timely market insights, supporting marketing programs, and ensuring the collection of outstanding payments.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in science, complemented by at least four years of sales experience in the food diagnostics industry. Experience in the seafood industry is preferred. Essential skills include a proven track record in sales, the ability to manage complex sales cycles, and a disciplined, customer-centric sales approach. The role requires a willingness to travel up to 70% of the time and the ability to work independently with a strong passion for sales.
