Technical Recruiter II - Hardware
Muon Space is seeking a Technical Recruiter II (Hardware) to join our team. In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruiting for technical and aerospace positions, partnering closely with hiring managers to attract and hire exceptional talent. As one of the first points of contact for candidates, you will represent Muon Space with professionalism and enthusiasm for our mission. This is a high-impact role where you will drive recruitment strategy, cultivate a broad and diverse pool of talent, and ensure candidates have a positive experience that reflects Muon's mission and values. This role is a 6-month contract to start, with potential to extend into a full-time position.
Key responsibilities include leading full-cycle recruiting for hardware and aerospace-focused roles across Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural Engineering. This encompasses sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and closing top talent. You will partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements, develop hiring strategies, and build strong technical pipelines. Proactively identifying and engaging high-caliber candidates through creative sourcing strategies, including cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry engagement, is essential. Additionally, you will coordinate and manage interview processes to ensure an exceptional candidate experience and strong representation of the company’s mission and culture.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and over 5 years of experience as a full-cycle technical recruiter, with at least 2 years focused on hardware roles. Experience with Greenhouse or similar ATS systems, as well as LinkedIn Recruiter, is required. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills are essential. The ability to multitask, operate independently while remaining a strong team player, and a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability are also important.
The hourly rate for this role is $65.00 - $91.25. Final compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location as assessed during the interview process. In addition to salary, full-time employees receive equity compensation as well as benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, short and long-term disability, and life insurance.
