Arista Networks is seeking a Technical Program Manager, Hardware, to join our team in Sydney. This pivotal role involves leading cross-functional engineering teams through the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of hardware products that meet customer requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal engineering leaders, customers, and strategic partners to drive hardware product development from planning and design through validation, qualification, and release to volume production.

Key responsibilities include creating statements of work and product requirement documents for complex technical programs, facilitating weekly cross-functional engineering team meetings, and interfacing with key customers and strategic partners to develop program plans. The role also involves leading cross-functional teams comprising hardware, software, central, and diagnostic engineering, manufacturing engineering, product management, ODM/JDM partners, and customer support to deliver outstanding products to the market. Additionally, the Technical Program Manager will track and report on the cross-functional design engineering validation and qualification status of programs, identifying and resolving any concerns proactively.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of NPI hardware engineering and leadership experience, with a background in design engineering, new product introduction, and manufacturing of rack-mounted data center or enterprise equipment. Experience working with multiple engineering disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, software, diagnostics, test, and manufacturing engineering team members, is essential. Exceptional project management skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing hardware projects and delivering on time are also required. A bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or equivalent experience is necessary, with an MS/MBA and PMP certification being desirable.
