Technical Product Manager

Canonical is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the development and management of innovative open-source software products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business and user needs. The position is home-based within the EMEA region, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a globally distributed team.

Key responsibilities include leading the product development lifecycle, setting clear visions, prioritizing work effectively, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The Technical Product Manager will work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to align product strategies and execution. Additionally, the role involves engaging with the Ubuntu user community, key partners, and leading customers to drive go-to-market success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, exceptional academic results, and a deep understanding of Linux and the open-source software community. They should possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for technology. Experience in product management, leadership, and strategic planning is highly desirable.
