Technical Onboarding Engineer
As a Technical Onboarding Engineer at Neo4j, you will play a pivotal role in guiding new customers through the initial stages of their Neo4j journey. This position involves leading clients from contract signing to the development of a production-ready Neo4j environment, ensuring a seamless and successful onboarding experience. You will collaborate closely with Professional Services and Cloud Operations teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet each customer's unique requirements.
Your primary responsibilities will include planning and executing technical discovery sessions, confirming success criteria and key performance indicators, and aligning on onboarding plans and milestones. You will facilitate environment provisioning for Neo4j AuraDB tenants or Neo4j clusters across major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Additionally, you will oversee environment security, identity and access management, networking configurations, data onboarding processes, application integration, query optimization, and the establishment of observability and operational protocols.
The ideal candidate will possess strong customer-facing delivery skills, including clear communication, scoped planning, risk management, and precise documentation. Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is essential, along with familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and configuration management tools such as Ansible. Proficiency in Linux and containerization technologies, networking concepts, identity and security frameworks, data movement tools, application integration, and observability platforms is also required. Experience with Neo4j or other graph databases, including Cypher query tuning, is highly desirable.
