Team Leader - Inorganics
Eurofins is seeking a Team Leader for the Inorganics section at our Dandenong South, VIC laboratory. This full-time, permanent role involves overseeing daily laboratory operations, ensuring timely and accurate analysis, and maintaining compliance with quality standards. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, with an additional 1.5% superannuation rate above the national standard.
Key responsibilities include managing daily priorities, organizing urgent sample analyses, conducting internal audits, and responding to corrective actions. The Team Leader will also coordinate internal calibrations of laboratory equipment, liaise with Analytical Service Managers regarding result verification, assist in troubleshooting instruments, and train analysts in various tests. Ensuring staff adherence to quality control procedures and maintaining accurate documentation are also essential aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with instruments such as Discrete Analyser, BOD/COD Analyser, AutoTitrators, and SFA/FIA systems. A minimum education level of a Diploma in Science, Laboratory Techniques, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or an equivalent field is required. Candidates should demonstrate competency in similar roles within ISO17025 accredited laboratories, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and exhibit a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
