The Team Lead, Sales Development at Mindbody is responsible for managing and motivating a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to achieve activity, meeting, and pipeline targets. This role involves running regular one-on-one meetings, team huddles, call reviews, and ongoing skills development sessions focused on messaging, discovery, and objection handling. Additionally, the Team Lead supports hiring, onboarding, training, and ramp plans for new SDRs, ensuring consistent execution across outbound channels and inbound follow-up service level agreements.

Key responsibilities include monitoring performance dashboards and quality metrics such as connect rates, meeting-to-opportunity conversion, and show rates. The Team Lead is tasked with improving playbooks, cadences, talk tracks, and qualification frameworks, maintaining strong CRM hygiene and reporting accuracy, and ensuring best practices in Salesforce. Tracking weekly and monthly performance against goals, identifying risks early, and implementing corrective action plans are also essential duties.

The ideal candidate possesses 3–6+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development Representative (BDR), or SDR roles, with 1–3+ years in a leadership or coaching capacity, either in people management or a senior/lead role. A proven ability to consistently hit or exceed SDR targets, strong coaching skills with experience in improving representative performance through structured feedback, and proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, or Salesloft are required. Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills are also essential.
