Team Lead Back-end Developer (Node.js)
BrainRocket is seeking a Team Lead Back-end Developer (Node.js) to join our dynamic team in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. As a global company specializing in end-to-end tech products across Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing, we have rapidly expanded our presence in multiple countries. In this position, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of developers, ensuring transparency about challenges and successes. Your duties will include hiring and training technical personnel, determining project requirements, developing work schedules, delegating tasks, and achieving set goals. Additionally, you will collaborate with team members and management to ensure projects meet established standards and motivate staff by fostering an open environment for questions and concerns.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in web development, including 3 years in a leadership role. Proficiency in JavaScript and ECMAScript 6 standards, along with a minimum of 3 years of commercial experience with Node.js, is essential. Experience with databases such as MySQL, RabbitMQ, and Redis, as well as implementing REST and WebSockets, is required. Strong leadership, organizational abilities, and excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills are also necessary.
