The Tax Manager at Kyowa Kirin North America is responsible for overseeing tax compliance, accounting, and administrative functions for all North American subsidiaries. This role involves managing federal and state tax returns, reviewing interim and annual provision calculations, and supporting the Senior Tax Director with insurance and banking activities. Kyowa Kirin is a global specialty pharmaceutical company dedicated to discovering and delivering novel medicines in areas such as bone and mineral, hematologic, oncology, and rare diseases.

Key responsibilities include managing the preparation and review of tax provisions, consolidated federal income tax returns, and state tax returns. The Tax Manager will also handle audits, assist with special projects, and ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws and regulations. Additionally, the role involves developing and managing internal transfer pricing methods and supporting various tax-related activities to meet company objectives.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited institution, with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred. A Master's degree in Taxation is also desirable. The role requires at least 10 years of relevant tax compliance and accounting experience, proficiency in MS Office Suite, and strong oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to meeting deadlines are essential.

The anticipated salary for this position ranges from $146,696 to $180,500 annually.
