Systems Engineer - VeloCloud SD-WAN (Enterprise)
The Systems Engineer - VeloCloud SD-WAN (Enterprise) role at Arista Networks is a technical customer-facing position, part of the company's broader networking and cloud solutions team. Key responsibilities include engaging with enterprise customers to design and deploy robust SD-WAN architectures leveraging VeloCloud components, integrating these solutions with existing Arista and third-party network platforms, and serving as a trusted technical advisor throughout the solution lifecycle. Day-to-day work involves conducting technical presentations, developing proof-of-concept environments, troubleshooting complex networking issues, and collaborating closely with sales, product, and support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, with extensive experience in SD-WAN solutions—preferably with hands-on expertise in VMware VeloCloud. Additional qualifications include a deep understanding of routing and switching protocols, WAN optimization, security best practices, and scripting or automation tools. Excellent communication, project management, and customer-facing skills are required, along with a relevant technical degree and certifications such as CCIE, VCP-NV, or similar considered a plus.
