Helsing is seeking a Systems Engineer specializing in Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) to join our team in Munich. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of our defense systems, contributing to the protection of democratic societies through advanced technology solutions.

As a Systems Engineer focusing on EMI, your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing emission control strategies for both airborne platforms and ground components. You will conduct comprehensive EMC/EMI assessments, including interference mapping and risk analysis, to ensure seamless integration and operation of RF systems without mutual degradation. Additionally, you will develop and manage frequency plans, channelization, and emission control profiles tailored to various mission phases.

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. You should have experience in delivering RF/EMC co-site interoperability on airborne platforms and possess hands-on experience with multi-sensor RF integration, including systems such as AESA radar, ESM/RWR, datalinks, SATCOM/LOS radios, GNSS, and IFF. Proficiency in conducting interference analyses and implementing practical mitigations is essential.
