System Integration Specialist - Robotics

As a System Integration Specialist at Vention, you will lead the deployment and integration of turnkey automation and robotics solutions for clients. This role involves managing project execution, hardware and software integration, and client relationships to ensure each project is delivered to specification and on time. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to optimizing delivery processes and driving innovation in manufacturing automation.

Key responsibilities include executing project management tasks and driving customer communications related to Vention’s turnkey projects. You will program automated cells and robotic applications using Python and Vention’s programming interface, install and commission projects at client sites, and provide initial post-commissioning support. Additionally, you will offer feedback to internal teams to enhance future projects and maintain documentation to streamline the delivery process.

The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 5 years of experience in a fast-paced work environment and holds a bachelor’s degree in automation or robotics engineering, or equivalent experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with proactive problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in Python programming is required, and the role involves traveling up to 25% between Canada and the United States. The candidate should be able to work primarily from the Lachine office, with some time at the St Henri office.
