System Designer (Web3/ Crypto)
Hyphen Connect is the world's first licensed hybrid decentralized exchange (DEX), dedicated to making wealth-building as natural as daily life. The company is developing a compliant, self-custodial platform for premium tokenized strategies, ranging from cryptocurrencies to alternative investments, built on trusted infrastructure. As a System Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual and functional foundations of this next-generation financial platform. This position is ideal for a systems thinker who thrives on creating consistency, scalability, and high-quality design across both desktop and mobile environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining comprehensive, scalable Figma libraries for both product teams—such as trading platforms, wallets, and onboarding—and marketing teams, including social templates, landing pages, and campaign kits. You will document and govern cross-functional visual standards, encompassing typography, color theory, spacing, iconography, and motion, to ensure a balance between brand expression and accessibility. Additionally, you will build and document a library of reusable UI components with clearly defined interaction states and technical specifications. Collaboration with developers is essential to ensure design-to-code parity, participating in handoff processes, quality assurance, and the implementation of React-based component libraries. Your responsibilities will also include developing modular systems for marketing initiatives and creating sophisticated motion patterns and micro-interactions to enhance usability and bring the platform’s brand to life. Regular audits of existing experiences will be conducted to identify and rectify inconsistencies in design usage and accessibility. Participation in design critiques and contributing to the system roadmap based on emerging product features and industry best practices are also key aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in Product, UX, or Interaction Design, with at least three years dedicated specifically to building and maintaining design systems. Deep proficiency in Figma, including advanced features like tokens, variables, auto layout, and variants, is required. A proven ability to think modularly and create scalable solutions for complex, data-heavy interfaces is essential. Exceptional skills in articulating design decisions and collaborating across engineering, product, and marketing departments are necessary. Familiarity with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines (HIG), Google’s Material Design, and accessibility standards (WCAG) is expected. A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to bridge the gap between branding and functional product design is also required.
