System Architect (Luxembourg)

ClearSpace is seeking a System Architect to lead the technical development of pioneering space missions from our Luxembourg office. As a key member of our team, you will act as the technical authority, ensuring the success of missions focused on in-orbit servicing and space debris removal. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to sustainable space operations within a dynamic and innovative company.

In this position, you will lead technical teams through end-to-end spacecraft development activities, including design, development, assembly, integration, and testing. Your responsibilities will encompass defining mission architectures, coordinating with domain experts, managing subsystem interfaces, and overseeing interactions with customers, partners, and subcontractors. Additionally, you will monitor and control technical work to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and support in-orbit operations.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the spacecraft industry, with at least 5 years in technical leadership roles. A strong background in spacecraft system design and analysis, avionics, electrical and power systems, attitude and orbit control, propulsion, thermal and mechanical systems, and team leadership is essential. Familiarity with the full space program lifecycle and experience with LEO, MEO, or GEO spacecraft systems are highly desirable.
