The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Client Engagement at Harbor is a strategic business development leader specializing in the legal industry. This role focuses on identifying and expanding opportunities within assigned territories, which may include specific end-markets, geographic regions, or named accounts. The SVP will build and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their unique challenges, and positioning Harbor's solutions to meet their needs. This position reports to the Geo Lead for North American Law Firms within Harbor's Go-to-Market leadership team.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing annual strategic plans for assigned accounts and territories, uncovering and acting on new business opportunities, collaborating with the Delivery team to address client challenges, and cultivating relationships with C-level executives to become a trusted advisor. The SVP will also manage an active sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with revenue goals, and work closely with marketing teams to leverage enterprise marketing activities to advance opportunities.

Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in B2B business development within large, complex organizations, preferably in the legal industry. A proven ability to create and implement territory development plans using structured sales methodologies, such as MEDDIC, is essential. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to form and lead account pursuit teams and build client loyalty, are required. A deep understanding of the legal sector, particularly large law firms and corporate legal departments, and the current trends and challenges they face is crucial. Experience in cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across Delivery, Go-to-Market, and Operations to deliver cohesive client experiences is also important.
