AS&H Clifford Chance, a leading international law firm in Saudi Arabia, is offering a Summer Internship Programme for 2026. This programme provides students in Riyadh with hands-on exposure to legal work, allowing them to work alongside lawyers and business professionals in the firm's Riyadh office. The internship runs between June and August, offering a valuable introduction to the legal profession in Saudi Arabia and the role of international law firms in complex, high-impact matters across the Kingdom.
Interns will have the opportunity to support live matters, assist with research and project work, and collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas, including Public Policy, Corporate/Capital Markets, Banking & Finance, and Litigation. This experience aims to develop core professional, legal, and commercial skills through real-world tasks, providing a solid foundation for students considering a future career in law or professional services.
Ideal candidates should be current university students of Saudi nationality, with a minimum academic GPA of 4.5/5.0 or 3.5/4.0. A genuine interest in the legal profession in Saudi Arabia is essential, and prior legal experience is not required. Candidates should be available to complete the internship during the June–August period in Riyadh and possess strong communication skills in both Arabic and English. Organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team environment are also important.
The internship offers exposure to high-quality, real legal work, guidance from experienced lawyers and professionals, and access to selected learning and development sessions. Interns will receive a certificate of completion upon successful participation and have the opportunity to build relationships and networks within the firm. The programme is based in the firm's modern Business Gate office in Riyadh.
