Strategist (Mensch) Media
As a Media Strategist at WPP Media, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic management of a major FMCG client, ensuring the alignment and success of global campaigns. WPP Media is WPP's AI-driven media operating unit, integrating media, data, and partnerships to deliver creative personalization at scale. Your primary responsibilities will include developing integrated communication and media strategies, determining channel mixes, media roles, and budget allocations. You will analyze target audiences, media usage, competitive landscapes, and cultural trends, translating data and insights into clear strategic recommendations. Additionally, you will define cross-channel media strategies along the customer journey and collaborate closely with planning teams to develop data-driven media plans.
To excel in this role, you should have 2–4 years of experience in a media, communication, or strategy agency, or in strategic marketing. Strong strategic thinking skills are essential, with the ability to translate data, market analyses, and consumer insights into clear strategic recommendations. A solid understanding of both traditional and digital media channels and their roles along the customer journey is required. You should be structured, data-driven, and enjoy making complex relationships understandable. Proficiency in presenting strategic ideas clearly and convincingly in both German and English is also important.
