Strategic Legal Programs Lead
The Strategic Legal Programs Lead at Faire will play a pivotal role in scaling the Legal function during a significant growth phase. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to the General Counsel, overseeing complex, cross-functional legal initiatives from inception to completion. The role demands a strategic thinker capable of translating ambiguity into actionable plans, ensuring that legal priorities are advanced with efficiency and precision.
Key responsibilities include driving strategic legal projects, developing and implementing metrics and dashboards to assess the impact and capacity of the Legal team, and supporting strategic planning processes such as annual and quarterly planning. The position also involves embedding robust project management practices within the Legal team, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows through improved processes, tools, and operational cadence.
Candidates should possess over five years of program or project management experience, particularly in legal, compliance, or risk management contexts. Experience in legal operations or paralegal roles is advantageous when combined with strong project management and systems-building skills. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical abilities, a keen attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. Proficiency in creating executive-level materials and excellent communication skills are essential.
The compensation package for this role includes a base salary ranging from $1,585,000 to $2,180,000 per year, with additional equity and benefits. The base salary is determined based on factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The role is based in San Francisco, with a hybrid work schedule requiring in-office presence three days per week and offering flexibility for remote work up to four weeks per year.
