Strategic Account Manager – Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur Based)
As a Strategic Account Manager at Agoda, you will serve as the primary liaison between our accommodation partners and the company, focusing on nurturing relationships with key supply partners to drive mutual growth. This role is integral to Agoda's mission of connecting travelers with a vast array of accommodations worldwide.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing long-term relationships with key supply partners, maintaining regular and meaningful engagement, analyzing large datasets to propose tailored solutions, and leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills to identify new opportunities for business growth. Additionally, you will train and inform clients about new and existing technologies, prepare materials for partner meetings, respond to partner requests promptly, and collaborate with stakeholders to execute strategies and launch promotional campaigns.
To succeed in this role, you should possess a bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in business development and/or account management. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence both external and internal stakeholders are essential. Experience in the internet or e-commerce sectors is preferred, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. A team-oriented mindset with a professional "get it done" attitude and work ethic is crucial. Proven success in acquiring, building, and maintaining long-term customer relationships, adaptability to change, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also important. Proficiency in English is required.
