In this role, the Strategic Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of 50 strategic Food & Beverage sellers primarily in the Los Angeles area and across the West Coast. Key responsibilities include driving account-based revenue through use-case expansion, cross-selling opportunities, and tailored onboarding experiences. The manager will act as the voice of the upmarket seller within Block, collaborating with product teams to advocate for seller needs and ensuring the delivery of customized solutions. Additional duties encompass negotiating pricing for use-case expansion and retention, providing exceptional client service, and conducting quarterly business reviews with various stakeholders.

Candidates should possess over five years of relevant account management experience, with a proven track record in managing, retaining, and growing a substantial book of business. Exceptional discovery skills, a technical solutioning framework, and experience in contract and pricing negotiations are essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills, creative and strategic problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams are also required. Experience in the restaurant industry or Food & Beverage technology is preferred.
