Store Supervisor (Full-Time)
The Studio Supervisor at Studs plays a pivotal role in the daily operations of the studio, acting as a trusted keyholder and frontline leader. This position is ideal for individuals who consistently demonstrate strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently. As a Studio Supervisor, you'll assist in opening and closing the studio, support floor leadership during peak periods, and ensure a consistent customer and brand experience. You'll also set the tone on the floor by modeling our values, reinforcing service standards, and supporting operational execution. This is a non-managerial role that requires maturity, ownership, and leadership by example.
Key responsibilities include independently opening and closing the studio, ensuring all opening and closing procedures are completed accurately. You'll support daily execution of visual merchandising, supply restocks, and studio upkeep. Reviewing daily business and helping implement strategies to drive results is also part of the role. As a floor leader during assigned shifts, you'll help structure the team to deliver both sales and service goals. Upholding compliance with safety and brand standards, including regulations tied to piercing and studio cleanliness, is essential. Delivering exceptional service and educating customers on the Studs experience, supporting service recovery, and escalating customer concerns as needed are also key aspects of the role. Ensuring a warm, welcoming, and consistent customer journey aligned with our service expectations is crucial. Additionally, setting a strong example for professionalism, inclusion, and accountability, providing real-time feedback and support to teammates when appropriate, and helping reinforce company values contribute to a collaborative, feedback-rich environment.
To qualify for this role, prior experience in a keyholder or shift lead role that included independent operations and opening/closing responsibilities is required. Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule up to 5 days per week (32+ hours), including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with consistent availability. Weekend availability (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) is required, excluding approved paid time off. Schedules may vary based on business needs, and full-time employees are expected to prioritize Studs as their primary employment commitment. A proven track record of professionalism, reliability, and sound judgment in a customer-facing environment is essential. Comfort with standing for extended periods (up to 8+ hours) and the ability to lift/move at least 20 lbs are necessary. Candidates must be able to handle chemicals safely and follow all relevant health, safety, and compliance protocols. Confidence in operating solo and taking ownership of floor leadership responsibilities when assigned is important. A positive attitude, receptiveness to feedback, and contribution to a collaborative, service-oriented team culture are also key.
