Storage Reliability Engineer
CoreWeave is seeking a Storage Reliability Engineer to join our Storage Reliability team, which ensures the stability and performance of storage systems powering large-scale AI workloads. As a key player in our organization, you will collaborate with engineering, solutions, and customer-facing teams to maintain and enhance our storage platform's reliability.
In this role, you will operate and support mission-critical storage systems, triage complex incidents, debug issues across application, system, and kernel layers, and contribute to improvements in the storage stack. Your work will involve developing tooling, automation, and operational best practices to enhance long-term reliability. Additionally, you will partner with internal teams and customers to diagnose and resolve complex deployment and performance issues.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, along with over five years of experience with storage systems, distributed infrastructure, or low-level systems in production environments. Strong debugging skills across user and kernel space, proficiency in Go or a comparable language, and a solid understanding of Linux internals are essential. Experience with Kubernetes, storage protocols like NFS or S3, and operating production systems within an on-call rotation is also required.
The base salary for this position ranges from $139,000 to $204,000, determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
