Staff Product Manager, Buyer Experience & Storefront
Xometry is seeking a driven and customer-focused Staff Product Manager to enhance the buyer journey on our marketplace. This role is pivotal in optimizing user experience and driving engagement and conversion within the storefront, catering to mechanical engineers and procurement managers seeking instant quotes for manufacturing parts. Collaborating closely with design and engineering teams, the successful candidate will shape and execute a product vision that ensures a seamless, intuitive, and efficient buyer experience.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing the product strategy for the Buyer Experience and Storefront, aligning with Xometry's business goals to create a low-friction buyer journey. The role involves partnering with engineering, marketing, sales, design, user research, and data science teams to ensure alignment on product priorities and successful execution of new capabilities. Utilizing data, market insights, and customer feedback to inform product decisions is essential, along with defining and monitoring key performance metrics to track initiative success. The candidate will champion the buyer's experience, leveraging customer insights to create exceptional digital experiences, and drive continuous improvements to the marketplace by removing friction points and streamlining the path to purchase.
The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in product management with a proven track record of delivering successful digital products. A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Strong understanding of digital marketplaces, particularly in B2B, e-commerce, or SaaS environments, with a focus on optimizing the buyer experience and enhancing user engagement, is crucial. Demonstrated ability to leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive product performance is necessary. Experience working effectively across functional areas, including engineering, design, data science, marketing, and customer success, with a collaborative approach, is expected. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders, are essential. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to contribute to product vision and deliver results that drive company growth and customer satisfaction, are required. Proven ability to contribute to and drive change within a fast-paced, scaling organization, with comfort in ambiguity and adaptability, is important.
The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $180,000 - $234,000 annually, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
