As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer on the Credit and Lending team at Square Financial Services, you will play a pivotal role in developing predictive intelligence that drives Block's credit products. Additionally, you will support team members in updating existing models and troubleshooting issues in real-time production settings.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 6 years with a Master's degree, or 3 years with a PhD, focusing on developing and deploying machine learning and statistical models in production environments. A degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Engineering is required. Strong quantitative intuition, data visualization skills, and full-stack proficiency are essential. The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving are also important.

Compensation for this role ranges from $194,500 to $343,100 annually, depending on location and experience.
