Staff Engineer
Fever, a leading global tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is seeking a Staff Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team. The engineering team is responsible for developing and maintaining Fever's user-friendly iOS and Android apps, as well as their website, ensuring seamless experiences for users worldwide.
In this role, the Staff Engineer will define and drive long-term engineering vision and strategy, lead and execute large-scale projects, and plan architectural strategies to support scalability and business needs. The position involves coordinating high-impact initiatives, embedding in product teams to solve complex challenges, and providing mentorship to engineers at all levels. Ensuring best practices, code quality, and development efficiency through reviews and technical leadership is also a key responsibility.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with over 8 years of experience in software engineering roles within agile environments, including at least 3 years in technical leadership. Strong knowledge of design patterns, best practices, testing, and distributed systems is essential. Experience in designing scalable systems, networking, resilience, and migrating monoliths to microservices is highly valued. The candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a proactive mindset, exceptional communication abilities, and advanced English proficiency.
