Flex is a growth-stage FinTech company headquartered in New York City, dedicated to revolutionizing the rent payment experience. By enabling users to pay rent throughout the month on a schedule that aligns with their financial needs, Flex aims to provide flexibility over one of the most significant recurring expenses. The company is seeking a Staff Brand Designer to join the Brand Marketing team, supporting various functions including Performance Marketing, Lifecycle, Social, Product Marketing, and Partnerships.

In this senior individual contributor role, the Staff Brand Designer will be responsible for implementing Flex’s rebrand across all marketing and owned surfaces, ensuring visual consistency and high-quality execution. Key responsibilities include conceptualizing and executing brand-forward creative across paid ads, landing pages, lifecycle templates, social content, presentations, partner materials, and campaign assets. The designer will also translate the visual identity into scalable systems that work across digital, web, email, social, and emerging channels, and create high-quality motion graphics and animations to enhance storytelling.

The ideal candidate will have 6–10+ years of experience in brand design, visual design, or art direction roles within high-growth consumer brands or agency environments. A strong portfolio demonstrating concept development and multidisciplinary expertise across web, paid media, lifecycle/email, social, and campaign systems is essential. Proficiency in modern design and animation tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite is required, along with the ability to execute across multiple formats and asset types. Experience in FinTech or other regulated industries is a plus.

Flex offers a competitive base salary range of $148,000 to $185,000 USD for candidates located in Tier 1 markets (NYC/SF). For other U.S. locations, compensation is adjusted based on a geographic pay differential aligned with market conditions. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, company equity, a 401(k) plan with company match, unlimited paid time off, parental leave, and more.

The company fosters an inclusive culture, valuing diversity and collaboration. With employees located throughout the U.S., Australia, Canada, and South America, Flex is growing quickly and deliberately, focusing on building a dynamic team with diverse perspectives. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and the chance to contribute to a mission-driven organization transforming the rent payment landscape.
