Sr. Technical Training Instructor
The Sr. Technical Training Instructor at Lucid Motors is responsible for delivering high-quality electric vehicle repair training to technicians. This role is based at the Lucid Service Center in Roswell, GA, a central hub where technicians refine their skills. The position requires full on-site presence five days per week and is not remote or hybrid.
Key responsibilities include organizing and preparing classroom and shop settings for instructor-led training, providing feedback to the development team to enhance training programs, maintaining classroom and shop cleanliness, managing consumable and parts inventory, handling student records and scheduling, staying updated on the latest procedures and best practices, and complying with all Lucid safety rules and quality standards. Some international travel is necessary.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of technical training experience in the automotive field and over 5 years of experience in automotive repair. In-depth knowledge of electric vehicle repair techniques, tools, and equipment is essential, along with a deep understanding of basic electrical skills, network diagnostics, and high-voltage systems. Strong presentation and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite are also required. ASE certifications and certifications in electric/hybrid vehicle repair are advantageous, as is previous OEM training experience.
Lucid Motors offers a competitive base salary ranging from $84,000 to $115,500 annually, along with a wide range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to company and individual performance.
