Sr. Staff Data Scientist

As a Sr. Staff Data Scientist reporting to the Director of Analytics, you will play a strategic role in guiding key analytics projects across our Product teams, contributing to the company's mission of providing flexible rent payment solutions.
In this role, you will develop scalable frameworks to enhance understanding of key business domains, proactively identify and address data and performance issues, and create dashboards and visualizations to scale analytics across the organization. You will establish clear causal links between actions and outcomes through experimentation and other relevant methods, and bridge data insights with strategic priorities to drive business improvements.
The ideal candidate holds a PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree with a quantitative focus, and has over 8 years of experience using analytical and statistical methods to support critical business outcomes. You should be an expert communicator capable of simplifying complex technical concepts, possess experience across various analytical domains, and have a proven track record of driving business strategy through analytics. Advanced proficiency in SQL, business intelligence tools, and experience with ETL processes, particularly using dbt and Snowflake, are essential.
This hybrid role requires on-site presence three days per week at our New York headquarters or San Francisco office. The base salary for this position ranges from $194,000 to $240,000, commensurate with experience and internal benchmarks.
