The Senior Solutions Engineer, Evaluation Services at NinjaTrader plays a pivotal role in supporting funded trader programs, providing aspiring traders with pathways to professional trading capital. This position involves close collaboration with Technical Account Managers and partner engineering teams to ensure successful integrations with NinjaTrader's APIs. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary technical contact for partners integrating with NinjaTrader APIs, offering expert guidance on authentication, endpoints, data models, and architectural best practices. The engineer will work directly with external engineering teams to debug complex integration issues, conduct code reviews, and accelerate time-to-production. Additionally, the role involves diagnosing and resolving intricate API issues, developing internal tools to enhance support efficiency, and synthesizing partner feedback to influence the API roadmap.
The ideal candidate possesses over five years of experience in technical support, solutions engineering, or developer relations, with a focus on APIs and partner integrations. Proficiency with REST APIs, WebSockets, JSON, OAuth, and API debugging tools is essential. Hands-on experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python is required, along with a demonstrated ability to work directly with partner engineering teams. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement are also necessary.
NinjaTrader offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $190,000 to $220,000 USD, with an annual target bonus of 15%.
