Sr. Software Engineer: Frontend
LogicGate is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in frontend development to lead and architect features for our Risk Cloud platform. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to align business and engineering objectives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will champion modern engineering practices, including a testing-first approach, frequent releases, and iterative development with small feedback loops.
Key responsibilities include developing and utilizing Angular, TypeScript, and other leading frontend tools to build a market-leading product. The role also involves writing tests and reviewing code to facilitate an efficient development cycle and prevent bugs. Collaboration with cross-functional team members using Agile methodologies to iterate on feature work is essential. Additionally, the engineer will help improve our frontend application for speed, reliability, and scalability.
Candidates should have significant (6+ years) professional experience in software engineering or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. A desire to grow as a leader, architect, and coder within a fast-paced engineering environment is crucial. Understanding of best practices and competency in one or more modern languages, along with strong expertise in developing web applications with modern frontend frameworks, are required. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $125,000 - $165,000 per year, plus variable compensation, equity, and benefits. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
