Sr. Service Technician, Hayward
The Sr. Service Technician at Lucid Motors in Hayward, CA, plays a pivotal role in the maintenance and repair of luxury electric vehicles. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical issues, performing comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, and maintaining a high level of expertise in high voltage, low voltage, and general electric vehicle systems. The technician will also train and assist Associate Service Technicians, ensuring adherence to correct repair order documentation procedures and effectively collaborating with both the service team and customers to deliver exceptional service experiences.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Service Technician or Diagnosis Technician, with required ASE Certifications (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, L4-ADAS). Prior experience in diagnosing and repairing high voltage and low voltage systems, as well as electric vehicle powertrains, is essential. Strong customer-facing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn proprietary DMS software are also required. A valid driver's license with no suspensions in the past year is mandatory.
Lucid Motors offers a competitive compensation package, with an hourly base pay range of $39 to $54.
