Black Duck Software, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. As a pioneer in application security, Black Duck provides solutions that help organizations build secure, high-quality software by identifying and fixing vulnerabilities in proprietary code, open source components, and application behavior. The SDR will play a crucial role in generating new and expansion business opportunities, contributing to our mission of enhancing software security and quality.

In this role, the Senior SDR will be responsible for qualifying inbound leads and driving outbound campaigns in collaboration with our Marketing and Sales teams. Key responsibilities include generating client interest, scheduling impactful meetings to build a robust sales pipeline, and conducting high-volume outreach through calls, emails, and LinkedIn activities. The SDR will also research target organizations to identify key decision-makers and business objectives, ensuring that Black Duck's services are effectively positioned to meet client needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a self-starter attitude with a competitive, results-oriented perspective. Essential qualifications include working knowledge of MS Office applications and internet navigation, strong organizational and communication skills, and a passion for continuous development and training. Candidates should have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals, with at least one year of professional experience, including internships. Sales experience is preferred.
