Sr. QA Automation Engineer

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Monks, you will lead the development and optimization of automated testing frameworks for web and API platforms. Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and fellow QA engineers, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality software in an agile environment. Your role will be pivotal in shaping testing processes and fostering a culture of quality within the organization.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript. You will define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality standards across projects, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. Additionally, you will mentor mid-level QA team members, promote knowledge sharing, and drive best practices in automation.

The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on test automation leadership. Proficiency in Playwright and advanced programming skills in TypeScript are essential. Experience with RESTful API testing, integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines, and a solid understanding of agile methodologies are also required. Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills, along with a B2+ level of English proficiency, are necessary for this role.
